Four days of racing. 3,124 points. Imara Aquatics’ first Uganda Aquatics national title.

Imara Aquatics won the 2026 Uganda Aquatics National Swimming Championships on its first appearance at the meet. The team scored 3,124 points across four days of racing at Kampala International School Uganda, from 2 to 5 July.

Imara finished ahead of Gators on 3,091.5 points and Altona on 2,966. The boys led their competition with 1,806 points, while the girls finished third with 1,032.

Age-group wins included the girls’ 11–12, boys’ 11–12 and boys’ 15–16 categories. Together, those performances brought the club its first overall national title.

The club’s celebration recognised the swimmers, coaches, parents and guardians who made the result possible. It was a first national championship to share with the whole Imara community.
