Imara Aquatics swimmers competed at the 2026 Kenya Aquatics National Long Course Swimming Championships at Kasarani, an event that brought together more than 80 clubs from around the region.
The team collected 15 medals: four gold, 10 silver, and one bronze. Just as importantly, the meet gave Imara athletes the opportunity to race long course, adapt to unfamiliar conditions, and build confidence against new competitors.
Karla Mugisha reached multiple finals and described competition as a continuation of training. Victoria Saka also reported personal-best performances in most of her races after adapting to the cold conditions.
